Black widow: blog task

1) In the film Black Widow there was many companies involved with the film this is including; Marvel Studios ,Walt Disney, Romanoff Productions. However , there was also other brands which were involved in sponsorships for example BMW. This shows that Black Widow was a very successful film.

2)
 Conglomerate ownership means a large company like Disney who owns numerous smaller businesses. This attracts more customers which also means more money ( merchandise ).

3) The age rating for this movie is 13+ this is because there is child exploitation,. significant violence and dark themes.

4) The production budget for this film was 288.5 million $ 

5) Extensive social media campaigns and influencer collaboration , effectiveness , emphasis on female empowerment,  star power.

Blog Task 3: Adverts / denotation and connotation

Denotation and Connotation: In this Wate r Aid advert , I can see a little boy probably age 8-10 who looks angry / in pain.  The background represents the boy is in a hot country , as it looks like it is in the middle of nowhere. This advert uses all of them ideas; the young aged boy,, the background to make it effective to the viewers seeing the advert.  The phrase in the advert , " Dig toilets Not graves" is represented to the audience that instead of digging graves for people who don't have access to water they should be able to have toilets as a necessity. His facial expressions show he is helpless and in pain, this is effective because it shows the viewers he needs help and donations. The connection between "Dig toilets Not graves" implies that to dig a real working toilets it will help people in a country that dosen't have access to toilets . Blog Task 5:Mise-en-scene: Stranger Things Analysis

 STRANGER THINGS ANALYSIS: The opening of Stranger Things establishes the setting as , dark , dangerous , and mystery there is allot of pauses throughout the scenes. This suggests that there will be something upcoming which makes the audience have suspense or worry. This has connotations of evil and mystery will be shown throughout this whole show. All the settings shown have been dark , foggy and very empty. This has connotations of something bad happening or someone getting hurt. The actors are placed on bikes in the middle of the night this placement shows hey should not be out in the middle of the night as children.
